Racoon Ranch Reviews

We absolutely loved staying at the Raccoon Ranch. The house was so comfortable, the beds were cozy and there was plenty of room for everyone to do their own thing. My son loved the hammock and the rest of the family loved sitting on the big porch. The house was close to many day trip outings and our family had a wonderful time. Thank you so much Steve and Amy, I would definitely recommend to anyone!!!

My family of 6 stayed at Raccoon Ranch, and LOVED every minute of it. The cabin was cosy and very comfortable, with everything we could have needed supplied. We traveled to all the nearby attractions, and even boarded the Polar Express for a wonderful evening. Amy and Steve even put up a Christmas tree for us, which was beautiful!! And best of all, we had snow and my children loved every minute of it. We will definitley be back, thanks again

What an incredible place for a family vacation! It was so nice exploring the Grand Canyon, Sedona, Flagstaff, and Williams and then coming back to this lovely cabin to relax. Racoon Ranch truly felt like our home away from home. This place was perfect in everyway. We slept so peacefully to the sound of the wind coming through the pinetrees. The children loved the playground and reading in the wonderful hammock out back was the perfect place to unwind!

We are already planning another visit to northern Arizona and will stay at this gorgeous cabin again.

We just returned from our July vacation at the “Raccoon” cabin. What a joyous time! We
were amazed of all the items supplied in the cabin — felt like we walked into someone’s
home. FULLY furnished is an understatement! We brought our food, water, and clothing,
and we were set for a wonderful time. We invited along two of our massage therapists
friends, and let me tell you, the front “cathedral” windows looking out into the pine trees
made a powerful “healing” experience for everyone!

The cabin was incredible!!! The cabin is brand new — easily slept the seven of us. The smell of pine, clean air and cool temperatures where wonderful — it was 104 in Phoenix that weekend.
All of the ammenities were available –
we cooked a great breakfast, barbequed, and ate like pigs.
Overall, I would rate the cabin, the area, and the surroundings as first class. We will be back!!!!!

I recently stayed at Racoon Ranch and I have to say this is one of the nicest cabins I have ever seen! The decor, amenities, cleaniness and area are absolutely awesome. If you want to relax, hear the wonderful sounds of nature and stay in a place that is considered “home” away from home, then Racoon Ranch is it. All you have to bring with you is a change of clothes and food/beverages of your choice. The owners are very nice and accommodating and you can see how much work and creativity they put into making Racoon Ranch one of the nicest places to vacation at. I give this an A+. I’d definitely go back!

Moose Manor Reviews

Great home away from home (WR)(09/06/2011)

Cabin was lovely and well equipped. Quite spacious for the four adults in our party. Nice kitchen, comfy places to sit, inside and out. Cabin a short drive from Williams- offered seclusion and quiet in a beautiful woodsy setting. Only regret was that we were so on the go that we didn’t have more time to hang out on the porch. Plusses- well lit rooms and living spaces, two really comfortable king sized beds, air laced with pine scent, and lots of privacy. (as in nobody else around at all!!) No problems at all. Highly recommended. Many thanks. *Nearest grocery is in Williams, so bring in whatever you need- nothing right nearby.

The morning after our arrival, I found myself sitting outside watching my children on the play structure as I sipped my coffee. The day before, I was in 112 degree heat, now I was wearing a sweatshirt in the cool mountain morning. The cabin is warmly decorated with a log cabin motif throughout. It was more than accomodating for my wife and three children. There were no surprises with regards to the listing, with the exception that the owners called the day of our arrival to ensure that everything was in order for us, which it was. There only downside perhaps of the property may be the proximity of other houses, which are literally in the back yard. Having said that, I did not see a soul for the entire 4 days we were there. No hesitation in recommending this rental.

Terrific Family Stay at Moose Manor (Memory Seeker)(8/24/2011)

We were lucky enough to find this cabin for our family of five. This was our first trip to the Grand Canyon. We have three kids (11, 9 & 9). Moose Manor was perfect for our family. The cabin is surrounded by trees and is so peaceful. The cabin was clean, warm and inviting. When we did eat there it was on the back porch which is so relaxing. I found everything that I needed to make meals. We made daily trips to the Canyon which took 1.25 hours each way. We never would have found a place as nice as this closer to the Grand Canyon. We were 10-15 minutes from town (Williams) which had everything that we needed: cute shops, restaurants, Safeway, post office etc… Amy and Steve made it easy to rent from, not to mention that I felt completely comfortable about renting long distance. I would highly recommend any of the cabins from Classy Cabins.

This is a beautiful home. Comfortable beds, all the kitchen utensils you could ever need, plenty of room, and spic-and-span clean. We had no problems at all with the water system or getting in; everything was exactly as stated. Owners are very helpful. Our only surprise was that it’s in a neighborhood — somehow I expected to be out away from others. The neighbors weren’t too close (it’s on an acre lot), and that was fine with us, but it was a bit of a surprise. Overall, we loved it and will return!

This is our third year at Moose Manor, and we enjoyed it just as much as the first. This year we vistited Sycamore Canyon, the lesser knwn canyon in the area. It was breathtaking. We also took a longer trip to see the Navajo Bridge at Marble Canyon. Spectacular, and worth the drive. All in all a very enjoyable week at the well kept, and well located, Moose Manor.

My family and I had a wonderful time staying at Moose Manor. We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful accomodations and incredible scenary. We especially loved our precious family time we had together in the evenings playing games and visiting. This is an awesome place to stay to get away from it all and enjoy being surrounded by God’s beautiful creation. We are definitely going back!

Our group of six had a wonderful stay at Moose Manor. If we are ever back in the Grand Canyon area, we will stay at the Moose Manor once again. The place had everything necessary for our stay, and the owners went out of their way to accommodate our group.

Would definitely stay here again! Amy was very easy to work with, and the cabin was exactly as described. Make sure you load up at the Safeway in nearby Williams, as there aren’t any other stores nearby. Perfect location for a visit to the grand canyon, which is about 75 minutes away by car.

The cabin is very nice and very, very comfortable. I like the location and a great setting. The only negative is that there is no sugar, coffee, laundry soap, etc. Which is fine, I don’t expect them to supply all that, but you are a long way from stores, so be sure to bring what you need. Overall, a great cabin and great place to stay. I would certainly recommend it.
